Welcome to Fast Track Project Management

By design, the ITtoolkit.com fast track model strikes just the right balance between standards and flexibility. Within projects, fast tracking can be applied at a tactical level, to shorten the project schedule through concurrent task execution. Fast tracking can also be applied at a strategic level, to maximize resources and minimize constraints. This is the basis of our fast track model.

The fast track model
provides consistency via a standardized framework
for managing projects. The model is
organized into five (5) phases and a four (4) part workflow is
applied within each phase to produce "must have" process
deliverables.
The entire purpose of strategic fast tracking is to "make the process fit the project". When it comes to projects, one size does not fit all, and you can get the best results, in the shortest time (with the resources you have) when you adapt and apply fast track practices to suit current needs and priorities. This is fast track flexibility.
Once adapted and applied, the fast track model will produce must-have process deliverables - those essential to on time, on budget and as needed project completion. These are the fast track results.
